A term that refers to a concept in which positions are opened in the market because they have good value. There are numerous ways to measure value. However, a good way of thinking about it is that if the assets of a company are worth $20 per share and you can buy the company for $15 per share, then you are getting a good value. Different value traders will have different ways to define value.
